Announcing: 2014 Land Awards Finalists
The Real Estate Foundation of BC is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2014 Land Awards. This year, the selection committee chose nine projects to be recognized in three sector categories.
A special committee also recognized Gary Runka, first manager of the BC Land Comission (later to become the Agricultural Land Reserve), as the 2014 Land Champion, recognizing his outstanding contribution to land use in BC over his five-decade long career. This is the first time in the history of the Land Awards that the Land Champion award will be presented posthumously; Mr. Runka passed away in 2013. Read more about the 2014 Land Champion.
