The Real Estate Foundation of BC is pleased to welcome Anna Warwick Sears to the Board of Governors.

Anna was appointed by the Minister of Finance and shares the responsibilities of the board with Scott Ullrich (Chair), Gerry Martin (Vice-Chair), Kelly Lerigny and Jim Rempel.

Anna is the Executive Director of the Okanagan Basin Water Board and responsible for the collaborative water management initiative, water quality improvement programs and aquatic weed management. Anna has a background in watershed planning and was previously Research Director for an environmental organization in Sonoma County, CA.

Anna received a PhD in Population Biology from the University of California, Davis, and is keenly inspired to bring together environmental, social and economic goals to better the lives of BC residents.

In her free time, Anna is passionate about cooking, writing and gardening.
