British Columbia Lake Stewardship Society for lake monitoring and education to support stewardship efforts, watershed plans and local bylaws that improve the health of BC lakes. $50,000

Canadian Water Research Society to review lessons on governance of international waters and natural resources from an aboriginal perspective; develop learning materials. $20,000

City of Coquitlam to support the second phase of a collaborative planning process for the Lower Coquitlam River watershed, led by a multi-sector roundtable. $40,000

City of North Vancouver for a pilot program to build capacity and support within the rental building sector for energy retrofitting of multi-unit residential buildings. $30,000

Cowichan Watershed Society for a water governance pilot project to test capacity for more local responsibility and accountability under a new Water Sustainability Act. $200,000

David Suzuki Foundation using scientific data and analysis, engage industry, government and local communities to conserve natural capital in the Peace Break region. $50,000

DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society for research intended to inform city land use policy on the role of community gardens in addressing food security and livability in Surrey. $28,775

Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook to evaluate City-owned land according to the Young Agrarians Land Access Guide in order to create more public garden space and urban farms. $45,000
