In 2018, the Real Estate Foundation of BC commissioned a research study and a public opinion poll. Together, these studies can help us understand public priorities, identify issues and trends, and plan for emerging challenges and opportunities.

In this one-hour webinar, Angus McAllister (McAllister Opinion Research) and Carolyn Whittaker (Firelight) will summarize what we’ve learned.

Speakers

Angus McAllister is President of McAllister Opinion Research. Angus uses qualitative and quantitative tools to help clients understand what works and what doesn’t work in engaging and moving constituencies that matter to them. Over the past decade, his firm has interviewed over 350,000 people in 12 countries.

Carolyn Whittaker is a Founding Director of The Firelight Group, where she leads research on ecology. Carolyn has a Master’s degree in Natural Resource Management and has more than 20 years of experience in conservation and land use research, community-based planning, and the development of community-based monitoring programs.

David Hendrickson (moderator) is REFBC’s Special Projects Manager. A planner (RPP, MCIP) by training, David is interested in projects and collaborations that contribute to community sustainability. He holds a PhD in Geography from Simon Fraser University. He has worked in international development, sustainability planning, and community planning.
