While our physical office is based in downtown Vancouver, the Real Estate Foundation of BC supports projects in all part of the province. For the past year, the walls of our office have showcased a photography exhibit titled “Land People Place.” These photographs celebrate the richness and vibrance of the lands and peoples we share this province with.
From logging roads to swimming holes, these images remind us of our relationship to this land and our shared responsibility to care for the lands, waters, and ecosystems that sustain us. The photographs were taken by photographers Louis Bockner, Ryan Dickie, and Taylor Roades, who are regular contributors to The Narwhal, an independent online magazine known for investigative reporting on environment and climate issues.
Prints in the exhibit are now available for purchase, with all proceeds supporting the photographers and The Narwhal. The photo auction runs until December 17, 2021.
If you live in the Vancouver area, prints can be picked up at the Real Estate Foundation of BC’s downtown office. Otherwise, we will organize for the prints to be shipped to you at no charge.
REFBC is proud to support independent journalism and photography that raise awareness and understanding of our relationship to the lands and waters that sustain us. We plan to host a new collection of photographs with a partner organization each year. For more information, please contact Stephen Hui, Communications Manager, at stephen@refbc.com.
