Join us for a FREE one-hour webinar on ways real estate organizations and industry leaders can encourage sustainable real estate practices.
Climate change, resource scarcity, and income inequality are starting to have impacts on BC’s real estate and development markets. At the same time, governments are making investments in affordable housing, green energy, public transit, and home energy efficiency.
Realtors and other real estate professionals can model sustainable business practices and advise their clients on home energy efficiency, green renovation and landscaping practices, and the benefits of living closer to work.
In the last year, the Real Estate Foundation of BC has met with real estate organizations, interviewed Realtors and managing brokers, and conducted research on sustainable business practices. We found that 73% of Realtors are interested in learning more about sustainability and Quality of Life principles (Mustel Group).
In this webinar, we’ll share our research and suggest ways REFBC can support industry organizations, Realtors, and other real estate professionals to embrace sustainability in their work.
Webinar participants will learn about:
- The value proposition for Realtors and managing brokers to embrace green practices.
- Realtor and managing broker opinions on sustainability and professional development.
- Options and opportunities to add sustainability and quality of life to professional development.
- REFBC funding opportunities.
There is no cost to attend, though space is limited. Sign up today!
After the webinar, REFBC will email a link to our latest report, Beyond the Transaction: Enhancing Professional Excellence in Real Estate.
